桂城公園

佐竹西家の居城大館城があったところです。江戸時代には通常１つの藩に１つの城しか認められませんでしたが、佐竹藩は大藩であったため大館城もゆるされていました。
建造物は戊辰戦争で焼失し、唯一残された堀の一部が当時を偲ばせます。
